REQUIRED CLAIM LANGUAGE:

Claiming 2.0 hours on (DATE), account I was required to perform yard switching on yard assignment (ASSIGNMENT) with locomotive (LOCOMOTIVE NUMBER) not equipped with a bay storm window. On (DATE) I notified (UP MANAGER or YARDMASTER) the locomotive was improperly equipped for winter operations and a penalty claim would be entered for the contract violation. I was instructed to operate the locomotive during yard switching operations for the tour of duty.
