EOT Handling

Your Claim:

• When required to install or remove an EOT at a location where carmen or mechanical forces are on duty and available.

• Claim on your working timeslip if available.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:
• Date

• Assignment

• Location

• UP manager or yardmaster who required work.

• Train ID EOT placed. • Carman/mechanic name or number.

REQUIRED CLAIM LANGUAGE:
Claiming 2.0 hours on (DATE) I was working assignment (ASSIGNMENT) at (LOCATION) I was instructed by (UP MANAGER or YARDMASTER) to (INSTALL or REMOVE) EOT (EOT NUMBER) on (TRAIN ID) on (TRAIN LOCATION) while Car Department or Mechanical personnel (CARMEN NAME OR NUMBER) were available to perform this work.

*NOTE: Include any information you may have which may indicate the nearby location or availability of the carman/mechanic.
**NOTE: DO NOT list carman location as "in yard" or "nearby", etc.
