Waiting for Hotel Room
Waiting for hotel room more than 30 minutes after arrival
Your claim:
- When you have arrived at the AFHT hotel and had to wait more then 30 minutes for a room to become available.
- Claim a basic day for having to wait more than 30 minuted for a hotel room to become availble (Call CMS to adjuct rest).
Required Documentation:
- Copy of time slip from trip from home terminal to the AFHT.
- Screenshot from CMTS showing that you had your rest adjusted.
EXAMPLE:
Claiming Basic Day on account having to wait through no fault of my ow, for more than 30 minutes after arriving at hotel (NAME). According to (PLB 6312 Award 269) the Carrier is required to have suitable lodging provided no more than 30 minutes after arrival at the hotel. I was required to wait (TIME) until a room was made available. CMS was contacted at (TIME) to have my rest adjusted.
