GUARANTEED EXTRA BOARD 12:01 MARK UP TIME
| Description: UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY June 1, 1989 380.10-4 Mr. L. L. Nelson Dear Mr. Nelson: This refers to our discussions of the Guaranteed Extra Boards on the territory north of Hinkle. In the modified Crew Consist Agreement, it was agreed that employes would receive credit for the day assigned to the extra board but not the day they came off the board. A review of this Agreement indicates that it provides an opportunity for an employe to cover the board most of the day and be bumped off the board late at night and not receive credit for the day. In order to correct this inequity, it was agreed to add the following language to Article III, Section (2): "To receive credit, an employe must place on the Board prior to 12:01 PM of the day added or credit will be given to the employe being displaced."
