EXTRA TRAINS: SPOKANE TO EASTPORT
Description: MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT between the SPOKANE INTERNATIONAL RAILROAD and UNITED TRANSPORTATION UNION MANNING EXTRA TRAINS - SPOKANE TO EASTPORT, IDAHO The parties recognize that there needs to exist a written agreement with respect to the manning of extra trains from Spokane to Eastport, Idaho. The parties further recognize that there has been a practice for number of years on this matter that is agreeable to all parties and therefore, this common practice will now be placed into written Agreement form as follows: 1. Effective with this Memorandum of Agreement, all extra trains originating from Spokane destined to Eastport, Idaho will continue to be manned by trainmen from the protecting extra board. 2. All assigned train(s), currently the train identified as the HKCP, will continue to be manned by assigned crews in the pool. 3. Crews called from the away-from-home terminal of Eastport, Idaho, irrespective of whether such crews are regular or extra, will continued to be on a first in - first out basis as provided in the Schedule Rule 12(b). 4. This Memorandum of Agreement will become effective November 5, 1993 and will thereafter remain in full force and affect unless canceled by either parties signatory hereto with a serving of a thirty (30) day advance written notice upon the other.
