RELIEF ASSIGNMENT- HINKLE
| Description: UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY June 4, 1990 File: 180.70 Mr. L. L. Nelson This refers to relief assignment YR04 at Hinkle. Local Operating Officers and the Local Chairman have discussed this assignment and have indicated that a change in the starting time of the assignment on Saturday and Sunday would be beneficial to both the employes and the Carrier. The current relief starting time is 7:59 AM. A change to 7: 30 AM would allow employes to be off duty earlier on the week-end and the Carrier to have less down time during the AM hours on week-ends. I would appreciate your reviewing this proposal with Local Chairman R.J. Larsen and if agreeable, obtaining necessary signatures and returning one copy to my office. It is understood that this is a special agreement and not to be cited by either party and is without precedent or prejudice to yard rule interpretations.
