Hazlett RE: 11:00 a.m. Starting Time - Yard Assignment Green River Dear Sir, This has reference to our telephone discussion concerning the local business requirements at Green River and Carrier's desire to establish a yard switch engine assignment with an 11 :00 a.m. start time. In order to protect customer service needs and local operating requirements at Green River, Wyoming, the Carrier proposes to establish a yard switch engine with a starting time of 11 :00 a.m. Therefore, in accordance with our discussions and as provided by UTU-Yard Rule 5 0) the parties agree a yard assignment may be established with a starting time of 11 :00 a.m. It is further understood should the business needs change to the extent there is lack of work to support the assignment it may be discontinued in accordance with the abolishment rules. If the above properly reflects your understanding please indicate in the space provided, returning one original to this office and retaining the other for your files. The Carrier will notify the Service Unit and CMS Department so that the necessary bulletins may be posted in accordance with applicable rules. This understanding is made without prejudice and will not be cited with respect to future similar requests.
