EXTRA REST: RAWLINS
Description: UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY July 24, 1992 MR G A EICKMANN This refers to your request dated April 13, 1992, and our previous discussions concerning modification of Item 41(p) Section 2, Seventh Seniority District only. Item 41(p) currently reads as follows: "2. Crews requesting rest in accordance with Rule 71 will retain their position on the blue print board. In the event crew is run around during rest period, they will be placed first-out at expiration of their rest period. " It is agreed that the following will be added to Item 4l(p) Section 2: "(a) Crews who have tied up for extra rest in accordance with Rule 71, or who have been called and released at Rawlins and subsequently called to work to Green River at the expiration of their rest period, in accordance with Section 2 above, will not be blue printed at Green River, and upon arrival on their return trip at Rawlins will be given the same relative position on the list as held prior to their extra rest or being called and released." This agreement may be cancelled at any time by either party serving a ten (10) day written notice of termination upon the other. In the event this agreement is cancelled, the former rules will again apply.
