Garges Dear Sir: This is to confirm our conference of October 21, 1986, in which we discussed the application of Rule 93 (d) (1) of the Agreement to the filling of conductor vacancies on this Thirteenth District. It was agreed that Rule 93 (d)(l) would be modified for the Thirteenth District. When a conductor's assignment goes no-bid, the junior promoted brakeman would be force assigned to the position. The employee however will have displacement rights over any other conductor and may exercise such rights if he so desires. It further was agreed that this modification may be cancelled by either party serving ten (10) days written notice upon the other. If the reached in signature in foregoing correctly sets forth conference, please so signify the space provided below.
