UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY-EASTERN DISTRICT

and

UNITED TRANSPORTATION UNION (T)

TURNAROUND TRIPS BY EXTRA BRAKEMEN . -- NORTH PLATTE 2ND DISTRICT

Item 43(g). dated March 18, 1970 and made effective April 1, 1970 and Item 43(~-1) dated July 29, 1970, are hereby cancelled and the following will apply:

IT IS AGREED:
Section 1. An extra board brakeman called out of home terminal at North Platte for short turnaround service of 250 miles or less will stand first-out after 12 hours, unless he becomes first-out prior to that time; providing he advises the crew dispatcher at tie-up time, otherwise he will be placed at the foot of the extra board.

Section 2. If an extra board brakeman does not make 250 miles the first short turnaround trip and is used for two consecutive short turnarounds, he may again request to go out first in 12 hours providing he advises the crew dispatcher at tie-up time; otherwise he will be placed at
the foot of the extra board.

Section 3. This agreement will be effective June 1, 1985, and may be terminated by ten days' written notice by either party.
