A G R E E M E N T
between the
UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY
EASTERN DISTRICT
and the
BROTHERHOOD OF RAILROAD TRAINMEN

The agreement effective July 1, 1943 provides that engine herders at North Platte, Cheyenne and Green River, and engine turners at Buford will receive helper's rate of pay, and all rules of the current yardmen's schedule, effective June 1, 1941 will apply to these positions, except the following provisions of Rules 3, 4, 5 and Rule 8:

Section (b) of Rule 3, and Note thereunder; That part, of Rule 4, reading:

"So far as it is practicable, assignments will be restricted to 8 hours work."

Sections (b) to (i), inclusive, of Rule 5; and Rule 8.

The practice of turning of engines at Buford has been discontinued and the positions transferred to Sherman. It is agreed that the agreement effective July 1, 1943 will apply to these positions.

Engine Turners Frank L. Davis and Joseph M. Davis, transferred to Sherman as Engine Herders, having point seniority dates at Buford of 6-3-19 and 11-1-23, respectively, will establish same point seniority at Sherman.
