Description: Item - A1 AGREEMENT between Union Pacific Railroad Company-Eastern District and United Transportation Union (G) IT IS AGREED: Section 1, The following rule will be incorporated into the basic road agreement of November 1, 1957: "A conductor will be employed in all classes of road train service, except that nothing herein shall be construed or interpreted so as to change or modify the provisions of Article III (Self-Propelled Machines) of the June 25, 1964 Agreement." Section 2. This agreement shall become effective February 1, 1969, and is in settlement of the dispute growing out of the crew consist notice served by the Organization on March 23, 1965, and will remain in effect until changed or modified in accordance with the provisions of the Railway Labor Act, as amended.
