ESTABLISHMENT OF STRICT SENIORITY FOR SEVENTH
SENIORITY DISTRICT:  RAWLINS-GREEN RIVER
------------------------------------------------------------------
IT IS AGREED:
For the Seventh Seniority District between Rawlins and Green River the following will apply:
1. Conductors and brakemen may exercise their seniority rights from one class of train service to another as provided by this agreement.
2.  Promoted men who are working as regular brakemen or on the conductor’s extra board and who desire to be placed on a regular pool freight turn as conductor in their seniority order, must have on file a written application in the crew clerk’s office five (5) days in advance of the assigning of a new turn or the filling of a permanent vacancy before being placed on such pool freight turn.  Promoted brakemen who do not have on file such written application will not be placed on a regular turn as conductor.
3. In the event no applications are on file as provided in Section 2 above, the junior promoted conductor of the district will be assigned.
 4. Regular conductors desiring to relinquish their pool turn and work as a brakeman may do so by written notice to the crew dispatcher.  Such notice must be given five (5) days in advance of relinquishing conductor’s job and the conductor must work his job during those five (5) days.  Such conductor may displace any junior brakeman as seniority permits.
 5. Promoted brakemen who do not take a regular turn as conductor in pool freight service, in seniority order, may later take a regular turn in the pool as a conductor only when new turns are added or permanent vacancies occur provided they have had a written application on file for five days.
 6. An assigned freight conductor displaced by a senior conductor will be permitted to place as a brakeman or conductor, seniority permitting.  This also to apply if assignment is abolished.
 7. In enforcing mileage regulations as provided in Schedule Rule 40 of the current agreement, mileage accruing to those who work part time as an extra conductor or part time as a brakeman will be totaled and when the equivalent of 4200 miles at freight conductor’s rate of pay is reached the conductor will be withheld from service for the remainder of the month subject to understanding to be reached.
8.This agreement supersedes all rules of the Rules Agreement in conflict therewith.

This agreement is effective July 1, 1976 and will remain in effect until terminated by the service of a ten-day written notice by either party upon the other.

Dated at Omaha, Nebraska this 14th day of June, 1976.
