Dear Sir:

This will confirm our July 7, 1987 conference at which we discussed modification of Item 92(m) in Appendix "A" of the Road Agreement, titled "RIGHTS IN SEGREGATED POOLS", and applicable to the Second Seniority District.

Effective immediately, Item 92(m) is revised to read as follows:

1. This agreement applies only to the Second Seniority District.

2. A promoted brakeman holding a brakeman's turn in one pool who stands for a regular conductor's job in another pool may decline such job, provided there are junior conductors who have application on file.

3. A promoted brakeman who stands for a regular conductor's job in the pool in which he is working as a brakeman must take the conductor's job.

4. This agreement is effective immediately and may be cancelled by either party upon serving a ten-day notice on the other party.
