Brakemen on Outlying Assignments

Laying Off and Reporting For Duty,

Fourth District, Cheyenne - Sidney and Branches

Brakemen on outlying jobs who are granted per­mission to lay off must notify the crew dispatcher at the home terminal of their desire to return to work not later than noon of the day prior to the day they desire to resume duty. Brakemen who re­port after noon will be considered as reporting to the crew dispatcher on the following day.

 On six day assignments with a Sunday layover, brakemen laying off must report for duty to the crew dispatcher at home terminal by noon on Saturday. Brakemen reporting after noon on Saturday will be considered as having reported on Monday.

 This agreement will become effective January 15, 1960 and is subject to cancellation on service of a 10 day written notice by either party signa­tory hereto upon the other.
