RULE 81 -

 COMPUTING TIME  -  -  TIME SHORTAGES

(a) Date Determined by Time on Duty: For the purpose of computing pay, any service takes date on which required to report for duty.

(b) How Fractions Computed: In computing fractions of a mile, less than .5 will not be counted; .5 or more will be counted as one mile.

(c) Shortages  -  How Paid: For all established shortages amounting to $25.00 or over, voucher will be issued upon request provided shortage is not due to negligence in rendering time slips. Sums of less than $25.00 will be carried on next succeeding payroll.

(d) Notice to Claimant and Committeemen: When time claims are ad­justed the man or men to whom payments are made will be notified of amount and reasons for allowance and whether it is being paid by voucher or carried on regular payroll, sending copy of such notification to the Committeeman handling the case.
