Description: RULE 24. THROUGH AND UNASSIGNED FREIGHT SERVICE-RATES. (a) For service paid the through freight rates under the schedule in effect, the basic daily rates shall be the rates as, follows: See current rate sheets for per mile and per day rates in effect for freight conductors and brakemen. Rate sheets will be maintained to reflect national agreements. (b) The basic daily rates of pay for conductors and brakemen in road freight service receiving road rates of pay shall be increased as follows: Basis of Pay Maximum number of cars Amounts to be added to (including caboose) basic daily rate as pro- hauled in train in vided for in paragraph road movement at any (a) of this rule one time on road trip anywhere between ini- tial starting point and point of final release Less than 81 cars.................... $ .35 81 to 105 cars.................... $1.00 106 to 125 cars.................... $1.40 126 to 145 cars.................... $1.65 146 to 165 cars.................... $1.75 Add $.20 for each additional block of 20 cars or portion thereof. |
